This session can be useful to the general public, people living with one of these diseases or a neurocognitive disorder, their families, caregivers and health care professionals. The goal is to provide a better understanding of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases while introducing different aspects of the disease such as the diagnosis, the biology, the symptoms, the treatment and complementary care. In addition, such topics as the warning signs and risk factors for the diseases will be explained. At the end of the session there will be a question and answer period.
